We at Liberty Drug understand the challenge of medicating pets. Our staff lives with a variety of dogs, cats, and exotic birds. We have worked with the Bronx Zoo and the Wildlife Conservation Society in formulating medication for animals, from the VERY large to the VERY small.
Veterinary patients are unique. The many species, differences in size, and taste preferences present unique needs that often cannot be met with items manufactured by pharmaceutical companies.
Veterinary compounding allows us to create many different dosage forms, such as transdermal gels, suppositories, and flavored suspensions to ensure your pet gets the medication needed. We formulate sterile eye drops and injectable medications in our state-of-the-art clean room.
Our knowledge of various dosage forms and flavors can make medicating your pet more pleasant for both you the pet owner, and your pet.
